Meet Our Team

Dedication. Expertise. Passion.

Mrs. Therrian

Director

Hey there! I'm so glad you're interested in joining us here at WCP. My name is Mrs. Therrian and I have been with WCP since my eldest son began preschool in 2017. I have been teaching for over 10 years and have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with certifications in Integrated Science and Reading. I am also the proud mom of 2 Wacousta Elementary students who are also WCP Alumni! As Director at WCP it is my mission to create an inclusive learning environment in which all students, educators, and families feel loved, valued, included, and welcome. I love that WCP provides me the opportunity to uplift my community within our school walls, but also by affecting change through community engagement. WCP is a beautiful place to be!

Full Day Lead Teacher

Welcome to preschool! My name is Emily Schafer. I am so excited to be at WCP! I took a break from teaching for a few years to stay home with my children but am ready and excited to be back in the classroom! I live in St Johns with my husband and three children. I have two sons and a daughter. We do a lot of DIY home projects that take up most of our time but I also love to read, volunteer at my kids’ school and go camping with my family.
