At Wacousta Cooperative Preschool, we embrace child-led teaching strategies like the Reggio Emilia approach and others to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. Through play-based learning, we encourage curiosity and growth in areas like literacy, STEM, and social-emotional development. Our outdoor playground and imaginative play stations inspire exploration, while our STEM activities merge hands-on learning with critical thinking. The Reggio Emilia approach ensures every child's experience is unique, fostering creativity and a lifelong love of learning. Join us and see your child thrive!

Tuition is paid monthly. Invoices are sent on the 15th and due on the 30th. Late payments are subject to a late fee. Tuition is paid evenly over all 10 months of the school year, September-June. Enrollment for the current school year will remain open until all spots are filled.

Wacousta Cooperative Preschool is happy to accept enrollment applications from students aged 18 months through 5 years. Classes are mixed ages, but students must be at least 3 by September 1 for preschool classes. Preschool students MUST be able to FULLY INDEPENDENTLY use the bathroom on their own. This includes wiping, using the potty, dressing and undressing.

As a condition of enrollment, all families are required to volunteer at least once each month. Volunteering can be done either in or out of the classroom with multiple options available. The Volunteer Guide includes more detailed information about volunteering and requirements for families.

WCP is happy to accept families receiving DHS/CDC assistance. We also happily accept Child Care Aware payments from military families. Families also have the opportunity to offset up to 25% of annual tuition costs with fundraising profits. WCP also has its own Tuition Assistance Program available that is open to ALL families regardless of income level. Please see the bottom of this page for more information on further tuition assistance. Questions? We're happy to help! Email us at enrollment@wacoustacooppreschool.org.

In order to hold a spot in one of our class sessions a security deposit must be paid. This deposit is non-refundable unless WCP is unable to provide a spot within 30 days of the start of the school year.
